1. Outreach to U.C.S.F. medical students and medical students at other institutions who are underrepresented in medicine (UIM).
2. Mentoring of UIM medical students at U.C.S.F.
3. Participating in screening, interviewing, and selecting medical students for U.C.S.F. residency programs.
4. Organizing diversity dinners and a list of contact residents for the purpose of outreach to medical students during the interview process.
5. Sponsoring social events among RDC committee members.
6. Participating in student or community diversity activities when possible.
7. Participating in any issue deemed important for sustaining diversity in the U.C.S.F. Residency Programs as addressed by the residents or committee members.
